Location: Michigan City, Indiana Type: Full-Time Exempt
Dunebrook is seeking a visionary and collaborative Executive Director to lead our mission of empowering children and families through education, support, and advocacy.
This role serves as the organization’s chief executive, providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and community engagement across our multi-county service area.
What You’ll Do
Lead organizational strategy, growth, and mission impact
• Partner with the Board to drive vision and governance
• Build strong community partnerships across healthcare, law enforcement, and social services
• Oversee programs, operations, and organizational performance
• Ensure financial sustainability and support fundraising efforts
• Serve as the primary ambassador for Dunebrook
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience
• Background in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services
• Proven experience with strategic planning and organizational leadership
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Experience working with a Board of Directors
Preferred: Experience in child advocacy, maternal/child health, or community-based care
Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000 (experience)
