At Healthy Families of LaPorte County, we’re here to support parents with a new baby on the way and empower them to be the best parents they can be. Parenting a new baby is not easy. Healthy Families of LaPorte County is here to offer you support. We are a free, voluntary, personalized, confidential program AND we come to you!

Build your family library with FREE books for baby, plus other children in the home

The mission of Healthy Families of La Porte County is to support new parents and empower them to be the best parents they can be.

  • To systematically assess parents in order to identify their strengths and needs, then refer them to community resources
  • To enhance family functioning by building trust, establishing support and teaching problem-solving skills
  • To promote positive parent-child interaction
